Jodie K. Hughes and Edie Okamoto, our co-founders, came up with the concept of Foretell AI, the Alldeyz Ap and Alldeyz Living. Some of our team members are boomers with extended families.
Even before Covid, we all wanted to share our lives and what we were doing and regularly learn how our siblings, parents, cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents were doing.
Covid taught us that the scientists were right. Positive relationships with family members and friends foster joy and alleviate the feelings of isolation that often come with depression and loneliness. Depression and loneliness often lead to unhealthy behaviors, lower soft skills, and other ill effects. Positive relationships, on the contrary, create an upward spiral of well-being.
Millennials, Gen Z, and even Alphas have stressful lives. When Gen X and Boomers were younger, we received free education; housing was only between 16 and 25% of the average income. Employers allowed several hours for lunch, and people left at 5 or 6 pm. Today is different.
We wanted a way to stay connected that wasn't disruptive but kept us close for all the highs and lows in each others' lives. Then we learned that extroverted family members disliked being at home alone. It was even harder to reach the elderly in care facilities, some of whom suffered neglect. And, thus the concept of Alldeyz Living was born.
Sharing photos and texting to let each other know we love our family and friends, even if we are not allowed to see them, really helped our spirit. Occasionally we discovered that some needed help. We the Alldeyz App we can coordinate our schedules more easily with each other. We lost a few people to Covid. Organizing wellness care, and end of life situations for our close relative showed us that we all can benefit from a bit of knowledge and help from each other.
Overall, feeling loved and giving love is a beautiful thing. Feeling connected and knowing all the people we love are safe is healthy and good for our own health. Alldeyz saves precious time with the effort to inform and update each other. This leaves some time for things like starting a new company.

Jodie has a degree in Engineering from Santa Clara University. Early in his career, he held positions as CMO of Western Digital, President of Sony Semiconductor, and Head of Product Development at Unisys.
More recently, he invented the microchip that allowed us to watch online movies on our TV sets. It revolutionized the media industry and our lives. If you can think of it, Jodie can build it!

Edie Okamoto, CMO, is responsible for strategy and marketing.
Edie is a seasoned Silicon Valley-based international marketing expert.
She started her career at ad agencies in media relations. Eventually, she began consulting firms and assisted over 200 companies, including Microsoft, Seagate, and HP, with competitive research, media relations, and international distribution.
Foretell AI promises to be her favorite company launch. It will revolutionize how we organize our lives in support of each other and improve our work-life balance.
